With its charming contemporary style and its modern gun metal PVD finish, this floor-mounted bath spout comes together with its own mains pressure mixer to control the temperature and the flow. Both the spout and the mixer are suitable for mains pressure only and will beautifully complete your luxury bathroom look. All parts through which the water flows are made from 100% stainless steel, which is lead free. The PVD finish is made by way of Physical Vapour Deposition, which in layman’s terms, is where a vapour is physically deposited at high heat onto a metal surface leaving a thin solid film. It is stronger and easier to maintain than electroplated finishes. It is also believed to be more environmentally-friendly to produce. However, it is not indestructible. It can still scratch and be damaged and requires care to maintain its good looks. Avoid using spray cleaners. Just wipe with a mild detergent in water, rinse and wipe dry.
The mixer contains a quality European ceramic cartridge. The height of the spout is 1145mm (963mm to the aerator) and it has a reach of 220mm.
Also available in Brushed Stainless, Brushed Gold PVD, Matte Black and a Mirror finish, (which looks like chrome, but it’s achieved through highly polishing the stainless steel).
NB: The shower mixer in this set is not the same as the one sold separately as CC SHM40 GM. The one in this set is mains pressure only and has a smaller diameter body and faceplate. The other one is suitable for all pressures (above 35kPa).
