Here’s a simple tip of how to set the mixer for better control over the mixing temperature on unequal pressure: With the faceplate off, set the handle to 6 o’clock. Turn both isolators off. Turn the hot isolator on full, then gradually open up the cold isolator until the water runs luke warm. That’s all there is to it!
Decorative finishes are generally not as tough as finishes like chrome. To keep the finish looking good for longer (even if it is chrome) avoid spray cleaners, clean regularly with mild detergent on a soft cloth, rinse and wipe dry.
